A funeral will be held Monday, September 9, 2024 for 87-year-old Carl Matthew Jenny of Frohna, Mo. who passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at his residence.
He was born January 13, 1937 in New Orleans, Louis. to George Anthony and Luella Lena (Meyer) Jenny who both preceded him in death.
Survivors include four nephews: Matthew (Cheryl) Honoree, Kevin McLeod, Geoffrey (Amanda) Jenny, and Jeremy (Heather) Jenny; three nieces: Cheryl Honoree, Susan Cherry, and Joelle (Brandon) Mouriz; eight great nephews: Joshua (Lisa) Cherry, Stephen Cherry, Grant Jenny, Greyson Jenny, Blaine Mouriz, Christian Mouriz, Anderson Mouriz, and Kellar Jenny; four great nieces: Rebecca (Michael) Chadwick, Rachael Cherry, Brook Jenny, and Leighton Jenny; two great-great nephews: Tyler Cherry, and Jacob Chadwick; four great-great nieces: Emmalee Cherry, Katherine Chadwick, Molly Chadwick, and Emily Chadwick.
He was also preceded in death by siblings: George Jenny, Gerald (Judith) Jenny; and Joretta (Herbert) Honoree; a niece: Sandra McLeod; a nephew, Mark Honoree; and a great-great nephew, Noah Cherry.
He served in the United States Army.
Carl was a lifelong faithful child of God. He worked as an assistant to the postmaster for the US Postal Service.
Carl enjoyed eating, cooking and being a gourmet chef.
Most of all, Carl loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, Mo..
Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2024 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.
A funeral for 87-year-old Carl Matthew Jenny of Frohna will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2024 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna with Rev. Paul Hoeman officiating.
Burial will be at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in Frohna.
