Ste. Genevieve Project Pioneers awards prizes

STE. GENEVIEVE – In a Saturday afternoon ceremony at Project Pioneers Headquarters during Jour de Fete, the following awards were made:

 

In the Bolduc family, a framed family crest was presented to the oldest man to attend, David Bolduc, 73; and the oldest woman, Ruth Boyet, 92. Family T-Shirts were given to those traveling the farthest to attend. Receiving the award was Christine Bolduc Thomas, Theresa and Michael for traveling 1,100 miles from Parachute, Colorado.

 

In the Weiler family, Leonard Gegg, 85, and Vernetta Bauman, 92, received a framed family crest as the oldest to attend, while Carl and Martina Weiler were given a Family T-Shirt for traveling 2,200 miles.

A copy of the family book was awarded to those who spoke on behalf of their families at Opening Ceremonies. Receiving the book award were Christine Bolduc Thomas of Colorado and Mike “Skip” Weiler of Ste. Genevieve.

A framed family crest for the oldest woman in the Weiler family was presented to Vernetta Bauman, 92. Receiving the crest for Leonard Gegg of the Weiler family is Mike “Skip” Weiler.

 

 

Receiving the oldest man award for David Bolduc, 73, is Christopher Bolduc. The oldest woman award went to Ruth Boyet, 92. Traveling the farthest from Parachute, Colo. were Christine Bolduc Thomas, Theresa and Michael, a distance of 1,100 miles.
