Local families will be honored at the Mo state fair today

SEDALIA – Farm families from across the state – including families from Ste. Genevieve and Perry Counties – will gather at the Missouri State Fair today to celebrate Farm Bureau/Farm Family Day.

Farm families are selected from each Missouri county, plus the City of St. Louis, to participate in special events at the Fair in their honor.

This year’s local farm families are the Tyler and Teresa Buchheit Family of Perry County and Bar MC Livestock from Ste. Genevieve County.

Farm Family Day is a partnership of Missouri Farm Bureau, University of Missouri Extension, the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the Missouri State Fair.
