PERRYVILLE – The Perryville Municipal Airport has closed for the month of August.
According to a posting on the airport’s website, the closure is necessary while its runway reconstruction project is underway. The project includes a new runway, updated lighting, and refreshed markings.
The airport is scheduled to reopen on August 31st, with potential intermittent closures following for grading, electrical work, and seeding.
Pilots may get more information by checking their NOTAMs regularly for updates.
