A funeral will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 for 87-year-old Dolores A. Petzoldt of Perryville, Mo., who passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at Holiday Residential Care.
She was born April 21, 1937, in Frohna, Mo., to Edgar C. and Florence A. (Metz) Popp who both preceded her in death.
She married Pearl Petzoldt April 23, 1955, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, Mo. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2013.
She is survived by two sons: Kevin (Theresa) Petzoldt, and Nathan Petzoldt; five daughters: Pamela (Rodney) Manche, Cindy Petzoldt, Chari (Larry) Nolen, Kristie Petzoldt, and Bonnie (Keith) Smith; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and two sisters: Karen Martin and Wanda (Don) Tanz.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Edward Popp and Norbert Popp; three sisters: Barbara Roth, Judy Sears, and Dorothy Coleman.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, and Concordia Ladies Aid.
Dolores was a home maker. She worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital in housekeeping.
She dearly loved and cherished her family and friends throughout her life.
Dolores made a point to instill her faith in God in them.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. MO.

Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville, Mo.
