Ste. Genevieve County Health Department issues boil advisory

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve County Health Department issued a boil advisory Friday.

Residents on Hill Drive and surrounding roads in the county should boil their cooking and drinking water until the water has been tested and is safe to use.

The boil advisory is the result of a water main break.

Corrective actions include main and valve repair, disinfection, and flushing.

The collection of three safe special bacteriological water samples for analysis will be required before lifting the advisory.
