PERRYVILLE – The July transfer of sales tax receipts to the city of Perryville from the Missouri Department of Revenue took place July 8th.
The city’s general sales tax was up $8,677.76 for the month and up $75,419.91 so far this calendar year as well.
The monthly transfer totaled $194,658.28 and so far this year totals $1,133,867.89.
The city’s two other sales taxes were up as well.
Perryville’s public mass transportation tax brought in $97,328.98, which is an increase of $4,338.82.
So far this calendar year, the mass transportation tax has brought in $566.993.91.
Perryville’s capital improvements tax brought in $72,996.87, which is an increase of $3,254.18.
So far this calendar year, the capital improvements tax has brought in $425,200.34, which is an increase of $28,282.27.
Perryville also has a consolidated city use tax which brought in $47,447.91 in June, which was down $2,601.52.
So far this calendar year, the consolidated city use tax has brought in $332,755.36, which is an increase of $36,649.85.
