Ste. Genevieve sales tax receipts are down for the month, and the year

STE. GENEVIEVE – June sales tax receipts were passed on to the city of Ste. Genevieve by the Missouri Department of Revenue July 8th.

 

The city’s one percent general sales tax was down for the month and down for the year to date.

 

The tax brought in $64,550.22 in June which was down $9,324.32 from the same month last year.

 

So far this calendar year, the tax has brought in $425,319.29 which is down $976.94 compared to 2023.

 

The city’s two one-half cent sales taxes were also down for the month but up for the year to date.

 

The city’s capital improvements tax brought in $30,366.78 for the month, which is down $4,521.19. So far this calendar year, the tax is up $215.28 at $200,199.36.

 

Ste. Genevieve’s public mass transportation tax brought in $30,366.77 in June, which is down $4,521.18 from the previous June. So far this calendar year, the tax has brought in $200,199.32 an increase of $215.38.

 

The consolidated city use tax brought in $18,961.24 in June, down $7,066.20 from June of 2023.

So far this calendar year, the tax has brought in $239,894.39, which is up $128,936.78.
