JEFFERSON CITY — Two Ste. Genevieve residents were hurt in a motorcycle crash on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County Monday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 36-year-old Jessica Weather had serious injuries and 64-year-old Norman T. Obermiller had moderate injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South.
The patrol says the crash happened when an eastbound 2014 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra overturned off the roadway and impacted the ground.
MSHP Corp. B. J. Fowler stated in his report that the driver, Obermiller, was traveling too fast for the wet roadway conditions.
The motorcycle had moderate damage and was removed by Ives at the owner’s request.
The crash happened about 11:05 a.m. east of Joggerst Road.
