Riverside Regional Library announces January events

JACKSON – The Riverside Regional Library System has announced its schedule of events for January 2022.

 

There are two Riverside Branch Libraries in Perry County. They are located in Perryville at the Perry Park Center (573) 547-6508 and in Altenburg at 66 Poplar Street (573) 824-5627.

 

January 2022 events:

 

Date: January 1 – 30

Title: Coffee Basket Drawing

Place: Scott City Branch

Date and Time: Tuesday, January 4 from 1 to 3 pm

Title: Coffee and Conversation

Place: Scott City Branch

Warm up with some stimulating coffee and conversation at the Scott City Branch Library.

 

Date and time: Monday, January 10 at 7 pm

Title: Riverside Virtual Book Club

Place: via Zoom

Title: Book Sale

Place: Scott City Branch

Get great books at great prices! The Scott City branch will have a book sale this week during its regular open hours. Monday, Thursday and Friday from 1 to 6 pm; Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to noon.

Title: Martin Luther King Holiday

All Riverside Regional Library branches will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King holiday.

Title: Riverside Snapshots

Place: Virtual

Encounter the people and places of the Riverside Region. This month we will visit the Cape County Archives in Jackson and catch a glimpse of life in the early 1800s. Available on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
