Registration is open for 13th Annual SEMO Food Bank Golf Classic

SIKESTON, Mo. – Full registration opened July 15 for the 13th annual SEMO Food Bank Golf Classic.

This year’s event will be Monday, Sept. 23, at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau. The four-person scramble has a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. All proceeds benefit the food bank’s mission to end hunger in southeast Missouri. The outing includes lunch provided by Texas Roadhouse, refreshments throughout the day, games on the course and a silent auction.

“We’re really looking forward to this year’s outing,” said Joey Keys, chief executive officer of SEMO Food Bank. “Dalhousie is a beautiful course and the staff always makes sure our golfers have a wonderful day. This is our biggest event every year, and we’re looking forward to raising a lot of money to help neighbors facing hunger.”

This year’s sponsors include Feeding Missouri, Focus Bank and Saint Francis Healthcare System, among many others.

“We’re fortunate to have such great support from our sponsors every year,” Keys said. “Many of these businesses have been part of our golf outing for multiple years.”

Sponsorship opportunities start at $500, and a team-only entry is $1,000. To sponsor or register a team, visit https://fundraise.givesmart.com/e/hdGBjQ?vid=15bilq or contact Heather Collier at hcollier@semofoodbank.org.
