A funeral will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024 for 65-year-old James “Rusty” Isbell Sr. of Bloomsdale, MO who passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at De Greeff Hospice House in Saint Louis, MO
He was born January 5, 1959 in St. Louis, MO, son of James Isbell who preceded him in death and Delphia (Bailey) Kalb, who survives in Bloomsdale.
He is also survived by three sons: Cody Isbell of Bloomsdale, MO, James Isbell, Jr. of Bloomsdale, MO, and Kenneth Isbell of Bloomsdale, MO; Two Sisters, Linda Trapino of Rocky Mount, MO, and Sue (James) Carey of St. Louis, MO; Four Brothers, Frankie (Susan) Schillinger of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Mitchell (Judy) Isbell of Wappapello, MO, Tom Isbell of Bloomsdale, MO, and Harry (Susan) Kalb of Bloomsdale, MO
He was also preceded in Death By: a daughter, Miranda J. Isbell; a Sister, Angela “Buggie” Bieler, and a Brother, Merle Aylward
James enjoyed fishing and working on older vehicles, spending time with family, he loved his dog Champ, and he was known to be a prankster and jokester.
He kept to himself but never knew a stranger, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO.

Burial will be at Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale, MO
