JEFFERSON CITY — A 49-year-old Fredericktown man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on Route J in Perry County Friday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Aaron W. Francis was taken to Mercy St. Louis by an Air Evac helicopter.
The patrol says Francis was on a westbound 2010 Harley Davidson Road King when a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 59-year-old Heather M. O’Keefe of Perryville pulled from Perry County Road 724 intending to go east on Route J but was struck in the side by the motorcycle.
O’Keefe was buckled up and was not injured.
The Suburban had moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
The Harley Davidson was a total loss and was removed by Perry County Towing.
The crash happened about 6 a.m.
