Perryville man suffers minor injuries when deer hits his motorcycle

JEFFERSON CITY – A 62-year-old Perryville man suffered minor injuries in a motorcycle crash Monday night on Route B in Perry County.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Mark Allen was taken to Mercy Hospital Perry by a Mercy Ambulance.

 

The patrol says Allen was riding his 2002 Harley Davidson FLSTCI south on Route B when a deer struck his motorcycle in the side causing it to fall over and travel off the left side of the road.

 

The Harley had minor damage and was removed by Ives Towing.

 

The crash happened about 9:14 p.m. south of Route K.
