JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – – Missouri Farm Bureau’s Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed Ann Wagner for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives in Missouri’s Second Congressional District. Trustees of the Missouri Farm Bureau St. Louis Regional Endorsement Committee voted to endorse her candidacy.
“Congresswoman Wagner is a tireless advocate for small business and has fought for agribusiness growth throughout her time in Congress,” said Denny Mertz, chairman of the St. Louis Regional Endorsement Committee. “She has been awarded the ‘Friend of Farm Bureau’ award by the American Farm Bureau Federation multiple times, which recognizes the hard work she has put forth on behalf of the agriculture industry.”
Wagner has served in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2013 and served as the U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg from 2005-2009.
Trustees of the MOFB PAC are selected by their county Farm Bureau organizations.
