Ste. Gen’s 1% sales tax revenue is up $8,350 so far this year

STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve’s one percent general sales tax is up nearly $8,350 so far this year, compared with the first five moths of 2023.

 

The Missouri Department of Revenue transferred the sales tax receipts into the city’s account at the Bloomsdale Bank June 7th.

 

According to the report the city’s one percent tax has brought in $360,769 so far this year.

 

The city’s two half cent taxes were also up so far this year, both the mass transportation tax and capital improvements taxes were up around $4,737.

 

The city’s consolidated city use tax has brought in $220,933 so far this year, an increase of $136,000 from the same five months in 2023.
