Ste. Genevieve man receives minor injuries in Highway 32 traffic crash

JEFFERSON CITY – A 42-year-old Ste. Genevieve man received minor injuries in a traffic crash Wednesday morning on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Tony A. Lewis was taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington by ambulance.

The patrol says the crash happened about 7:15 a.m. east of Highway 144 when a westbound 2005 Nissan Murano driven by Lewis crossed the center-line and traveled off the left side of the road, striking a pole holding up a railroad crossing signal.

The patrol says Lewis was buckled up.

The Nissan had extensive damage and was removed by Ste. Genevieve County Towing.
