JEFFERSON CITY — An 83-year-old Perryville man suffered serious injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 61 in Cape Girardeau County Wednesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Paul T. Renner was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau by EMS.
The patrol reports the crash happened when a northbound 2003 Ford F150 driven by 20-year-old Emile G. Rouggly of Glenallen struck the rear of a 2016 Kubota 1100 driven by Renner.
Rouggly was not injured. The patrol says she was buckled up.
After the impact, the Kubota ran off the right side of the road and overturned.
The Kubota had moderate damage and was removed from the scene by a neighbor.
The F150 had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. in Old Appleton.
