JEFFERSON CITY — A 31-year-old St. Louis man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash Sunday afternoon in Ste. Genevieve County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Shaine W. Phillips was taken to Mercy Hospital South by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.
The patrol reports the crash happened when the 2006 Suzuki Hayabusa Phillips was riding south on Highway 61 failed to negotiate a curve to the right and ran off the roadway to the left and overturned.
The crash happened about 5:55 p.m. at Zerwig Road.
The Suzuki was a total loss and was removed by Ste. Genevieve County Towing.
