PERRYVILLE, Mo. – The Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland proudly recognize Emily Leible, Lucy Allen, and Kaitlin Lobbig of Perryville, Mo. as members of the 2025 Girl Scout Bronze Award class.
These Girl Scouts earned the highest award for Cadette Girl Scouts, the Silver Award. Silver Award Girl Scouts collaborate with their troop to address an issue they care about and make a lasting impact in their community.
For their Silver Award Project, Emily, Lucy, and Kaitlin focused on educating others about the American flag and the importance of proper flag etiquette.
They hosted workshops for fellow Girl Scouts and local students, teaching the history and significance of the flag, and created a YouTube video to continue spreading awareness and respect for this national symbol.
Through their efforts, the girls inspired a deeper appreciation for the flag and its role in daily life. Their project continues to educate and influence others online, leaving a lasting legacy of patriotism and civic pride.
We Are Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from community to community, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
