Track and Field

PERRYVILLE – The St. Vincent boys and girls track team each finished in second place in their respective state qualifying track meets.

Combined, the track and field teams havee 16 athletes who will be participating in the state meet Friday and Saturday.

Boys’ 4×400 (James Unterreiner, Kale Meyer, Jack Seabaugh, and Clayton Gremaud) came in first.

Reagan Meyer won both the mile and 800.

The girls’ 4×400 (Paige Leible, Jenna Unterreiner, Brynn Renner, and Reagan Meyer) came in first.

Boys’ 4×200 (James Unterreiner, Jack Seabaugh, Clayton Gremaud, and Kale Meyer) came in first.

Carter Hennemann placed 1st in the mile and 2nd in the 800.

 

The girls’ 4×800 (Abby Kirn, Audrey Amschler, Reagan Meyer, and Anna Welker) placed 2nd.

The girls’ 4×200 (Paige Leible, Jenna Unterreiner, Payton Unterreiner, and Brynn Meyer) placed 3rd.

Reese Zoellner got 3rd place in pole vault.

Sophia Taylor placed 4th in triple jump.

Ethan Hotop placed 4th in the 2-mile.
 

Girls’ Soccer

JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran play St. Pius in the semifinal round of the Class 2 District 1 Tournament at De Soto today at 5 p.m.

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays Windsor today in the semifinals of the Class 2 District 1 Tournament at De Soto today at 6:30 p.m.

Baseball

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve plays Perryville for the Class 4 District 2 crown at 5 p.m. Friday.

 
 
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle plays Chaffee in the sectional round of the Class 2 state tournament Monday.
