STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen will meet in open, regular session Thursday in the city hall board room 165 S. 4th Street, Ste. Genevieve.
The meeting is open to the public.

CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT
- The Prop S asphalt and concrete work are set to begin June 2nd (weather permitting). Contractors are finalizing their schedules and we will have them to send to you and publish on the website next week.
We are also issuing a Notice to Proceed to Jokerst Paving to start June 2nd.
- The county is now required to perform an archeological survey on the S. Gabouri bridge area before any construction can move forward. This will delay bridge construction into 2026.
- City offices will be closed Monday, May 26, 2025 for the Memorial Day Holiday.
- The Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park Bauvais-Amoureaux house reopening is 3p, Friday, May 23, with a world premier showing of a film about the home that evening at 6p.
- The fire district met with their attorney last Wednesday and invited members of the board and myself to discuss the fire department transitioning from a city department to district control. We will begin our discussion at the June 12 work session when we discuss equipment, building and tax revenue reduction.
