A funeral will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 for 83-year-old Euline Gladys Koenig of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born February 6, 1942 in Farrar, Mo. to Ernst Rudolf and Emma Martha (Hadler) Bachmann. Who both preceded her in death.
She married Norman Edwin Koenig November 25, 1961 at Salem Lutheran Church. He survives.
She is also survived by a daughter: JoAnn (Dan) Steffens; a son: Danny Koenig; a daughter: Carol (Daniel) Hemmann; a brother, Raymond Bachmann; two sisters:Aldine (Leroy) Muench, and Loretta Givens; three brothers-in-law: Willis (Janet) Koenig, Wayne (Mary) Koenig, and Ron Wiebusch; five grandchildren: Melissa (Cary) Roth, Bryant (Tiffany) Steffens, Casey Hemmann, Laura (Rocky) Dosenbach, Nicole (Jacob) Terhaar; four great-grandchildren, Cohen Roth, Cailyn Roth, Ayda Dosenbach, Sawyer Steffens; one step great-grandchild, Aaron Svehla and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Connie (Schlichting) Koenig; brothers and sisters-in-law: Orville and Esther Bachmann, Norman and Dorthy Bachmann, Vernold and Reva Bachmann; two brothers-in-law: William Givens, and Dennis Koenig; two sisters-in-laws, Ruby (Koenig) Wiebusch and Annette Bachmann.
She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, MO.
Euline enjoyed gardening, crocheting, dancing, and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and 8-10 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2025 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Mo.
A funeral for 83-year-old Euline Gladys Koenig of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2025 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with Rev. John Hellwege officiating.
Burial will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Farrar.
