CHESTER, Ill. – Twenty-nine Chester Grade School students were recognized Wednesday March 12 with “HIVE” Character Awards for demonstrating one of the four “HIVE” good character traits including “RESPECT”, RESPONSIBILITY”, SAFETY”, or “EMPATHY”.

Each student received a certificate, and his or her name was announced over the CGS public address system.
The Character Education Program is coordinated by Kacey Crook, School Social Worker.
March winners are grouped under the character trait they exhibited.
