Ste. Genevieve Farmers’ Market opens May 3

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve County Farmers’ Market begins its season Saturday, May 3rd.

Located at the Knights of Columbus pavilion, 600 West Market Street, the market runs from 7 a.m.-noon each Saturday, May through October.

Locally-grown seasonal produce is offered weekly, and value added items will also be available.

Jams, jellies, breads, cakes and other tasty treats made by the vendors round out the selection.

Mushrooms and micro greens to enhance your cuisine are also often a market highlight.

On Saturday, May 3, there will be bedding plants grown by 4-H members.

Hill and Dale Garden Club plants will be available on May 10th.

Find what you need to fill in that empty spot or treat someone special for Mother’s Day.

Visit the market for the freshest available produce  that you didn’t grow  or make yourself.
