SPRINGFIELD – A group of Illinois House Republicans held a capitol press conference Wednesday to discuss saving the family farm in Illinois.
Three of Illinois’ seven farmer/legislators in the Illinois House discussed the importance of agriculture and saving family-run farms in Illinois.
They said “agriculture is incredibly important to Illinois, driving its economy and impacting nearly every resident. Which makes it surprising that critical farm legislation failed to receive any type of hearing during the spring legislative session.’
