Ste. Genevieve’s 4th Friday Art Walk will be April 25

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve’s April 4th Friday Art Walk will be held from 6pm to 9pm on April 25, with galleries offering original fine art and other surprises.

This month’s Art Walk features eight galleries in the town’s historic downtown.

In the Little Bohemia neighborhood (North Main Street from Jefferson to Washington) there’ll be a combination of art, music and friendly gatherings.

New work by local artist J Rissover will be on display at E•KLeK•TiX, along with the gallery’s collection of “odd and interesting things.”

Music Art Love is offering live music by Jarreck Stone and work by this month’s featured artist Hannah Walker. Additional art, fashion, jewelry and decor will be featured.

Visitors also will find original art and jewelry by Sam Conlon and other talented artisans at Only Child Originals and Rust, plus a collection of great spring and summer fashion at Rust.

Ste. Genevieve’s newest gallery, La Petite Fleur, plans to feature the art of co-owner Angie Dalton. The tiny  charming gallery space is located on Market, east of Second Street.

In the courthouse square area the Sainte Genevieve Art Guild at 310 Merchant Street promises over 100 items in its new exhibit of member art.

Silver Sycamore Gallery of Fine Art will be showing “new treasures” plus work by featured artist St Louis photographer Dan Esary who will discuss his work and provide what the gallery promises will be entertaining stories about his life as an artist. The gallery is located at Market and Third.

On Third Street south of Market ASL Pewter will showcase its unique collection of handmade pewter treasures.

Most monthly 4th Friday activities are free and open to everyone.
