JEFFERSON CITY — A 48-year-old Red Bud woman suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash in Jefferson County, Mo. Wednesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the woman was taken to Mercy Hospital South.
The patrol says the crash happened when the woman’s 2024 Mazda CX5 was struck in the rear by a 1964 Chevrolet Nova, as it was stopped at a red traffic signal at the intersection of Missouri Highway 30 and Delores Drive.
The 61-year-old Fenton man who was driving the striking car.
Both drivers were buckled up.
Both vehicles received extensive damage and were towed by Northwest Towing.
