JEFFERSON CITY –A 28-year-old St. Louis man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on I-55 in Ste. Genevieve County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the man was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.
The report states the crash happened when a southbound 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter driven by the man ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a rock near the bluff rock face.
The crash happened about 6:06 p.m. Tuesday at the 163 mile marker.
The Sprinter had minor damage and was left roadside.
The patrol says the man was buckled up.
