STE. GENEVIEVE – The fourth and final Betty’s Color Splash 1 Mile Fun Run will be held Saturday, May 3, in memory of Bethany Bequette, Ste. Genevieve High School alumna and Bloomsdale Elementary teacher. The initiative supports a scholarship in Bethany’s memory at Ste. Genevieve High School.
To sponsor or participate in the event, please sign up as soon as possible using the information below.
For the past three years, students, families and community members have participated in the 1-mile walk/run course laid out around Bloomsdale Elementary.
Volunteers toss colored powders on the participants as they run by, and at the end of the walk and run, everyone participates in the Color Throw, where each person throws color up at the same time to celebrate Bethany.
