SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a contract for pavement resurfacing on Route O from Route 61 to Route 32 in Ste. Genevieve County. The $984,000 contract with N. B. West Contracting Company was one of several awarded during the commission’s meeting April 2nd.

Contracts also included the following: • A $3,440,171 contract was to Plattin Creek Excavating, LLC, for the addition of a roundabout on Route 8 at State Street in St. Francois County. • A $2,288,286 contract was awarded to Penzel Construction Company, Inc., for bridge replacements in the following locations: • Route 102 over Black Bayou in Mississippi County, • Route O over Drainage Ditch 287 in Stoddard County, and; • Route E over Little River Dit6ch 251 in New Madrid County. • A $789,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for pavement resurfacing on Route 412 from Route VV to Route 84 in Dunklin County. • A $1,068,000 contract was awarded to H. R. Quadri Contractors, for erosion control repairs at various locations throughout the Southeast District. • A $417,500 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Company, for asphalt pavement repairs on Interstate 55, Interstate 57, and Interstate 155. • A $1,128,055 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Company, for pavement resurfacing on Route BB from Route C to Route M in Stoddard County. • A $1,475,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for pavement resurfacing on Route H from Route U to Route 62 in Scott County. • A $552,500 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for concrete pavement repairs on Interstate 55, Interstate 57, and Interstate 155 in the Southeast District. • A $599,000 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for concrete pavement repairs on all major highways in the Southeast District. • A $990,000 contract was awarded to James H. Drew Corporation, for guard cable and guardrail repairs in Wright, Douglas, Ozark, Texas, Howell, Shannon, Reynolds, Iron, Carter, Oregon, and Ripley counties. • A $376,051 contract was awarded to Concrete Strategies, LLC, for a bridge rehabilitation on Route 67 over the St. Francois River in Wayne County. • A $3,021,561 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Company, for pavement resurfacing on Route E from Route 114 to Route D in New Madrid County, and on Routes O, AA and OO in Mississippi County, and Route U from County Road 732 to the end of state maintenance in New Madrid County. • An $83,781 contract was awarded to Clarkson Construction, for diamond grooving in the northbound lane of Route 67 from Route E to more than one-half mile of Route E in Madison County. • A $938,874 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Company for pavement resurfacing on Route M from Route 67 to the end of state maintenance in Butler County. • A $259,014 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Company for pavement resurfacing on Outer Road 67 from Route 67 to the end of state maintenance in Butler County.
