A burial of cremated remains for 90-year-old Wanda Lee “Wicked Wanda” Cumberland of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025 at her home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born August 24, 1934 in Moberly, Mo., daughter of Archie Lee Cooley and Ruby Louise Cooley who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by: her best buddy Bunny Butt Cumberland; a daughter: Ronda (Debbie) Cumberland of Swansea, Ill.; granddaughter: Michelle (Steve) Cumberland-Decker; son, Robby (Kristine) Cumberland; companion, Wally Bauman.
Wanda loved simple things, her hummingbirds, butterflies, sunrises and sunsets, cats and all living creatures.
Wanda was a great athlete and would play softball, tennis and bowling and also enjoyed riding her bicycle.
She could not stand the thought of any living being to suffer.
Wanda was very accepting of everyone and embraced people’s differences while encouraging everyone to be themselves and not be afraid of their uniqueness.
She absolutely loved her job and her NuWeigh peeps and best friend Patti (Donnie) Naeger.
The family would like to thank Journey Hospice, Dr. Erika Leung, neighbors, and friends for all of their support during this difficult time.
Burial of cremated remains will be at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, Mo. at a later date.
Memorials can be made to any animal clinic of your choice. As Bob Barker would say, help control the pet population and have your pets spayed or neutered.
