STE. GENEVIEVE – On Saturday, March 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ste. Genevieve County Library will host its first-ever Touch-A-Truck event, bringing the community together for a fun and educational experience.
“We have 12-15 vehicles lined up, including fire trucks from across the county,” said Library Director Shawn Long. “If all goes well, representatives from the Fire Department, Ambulance District, Air Evac, and other first responder teams will be on-site for attendees to meet.”
In addition to the vehicle showcase, the event will feature:
- A STEM Robot demonstration provided by HTE Technologies
- Inflatablescourtesy of the Ste. Genevieve Community Center
- Walking Tacosfor purchase from Pat’s Pastries
- Face paintingby Whimsical Creations
- Special appearances by costumed characters, including Louie from the St. Louis Blues from 11-11:30 and Dragon from Dragons Love Tacosfrom 12:30-1:00 & 1:30-2:00
“We wanted to highlight the incredible resources available to our community, and we love hosting events like this,” said Library Director Shawn Long. “We’re still working on adding more attractions—even up until the day of the event—so it’s definitely something you won’t want to miss!”
