Joint operation yields eight arrests in Sparta

SPARTA, Ill. — The Sparta Police Department Drug Task Force held a joint operation with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, United States Marshall’s, and the Illinois State Police Tuesday.

 

The Drug Investigation lead to the arrests of the following individuals:

 

40-year-old Joshua L. Renner of Sparta – Unlawful Delivery of controlled substance/conspiracy.

 

47-year-old Derrick T. Williams of Sparta – Unlawful Delivery of controlled substance/conspiracy and Unlawful possession of controlled substance.

 

41-year-old Terrance L. Nesbitt of Sparta – Unlawful Delivery of controlled substance/conspiracy.

 

49-year-old Cortez Nesbitt of Sparta – Unlawful Delivery of controlled substance/conspiracy.

 

41-year-old Nicholas E. Moore of Sparta – Unlawful Delivery of controlled substance/conspiracy.

 

43-year-old Robert R. Alde of Sparta – Unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

 

30-year-old Trey D. Eggemeyer of Marissa – Unlawful Delivery of controlled substance/conspiracy.

 

44-year-old Christopher Nesbitt of Sparta – Unlawful Delivery of controlled substance/conspiracy and Driving while license suspended.
