JEFFERSON CITY — A 20-year-old woman from Perryville received minor injuries in a traffic crash on I-55 in Perry County Friday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the woman was taken to Mercy Hospital – Jefferson by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when the northbound 2017 Ford Fusion the woman was driving skidded off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels facing east off the right side of the roadway.
The woman was buckled up.
The crash happened about 6:56 a.m. near the 144 mile marker.
The Fusion was a total loss and was towed by Ste Gen Towing.
