Kailynn Harmon named March Rotary Student of the Month

STE. GENEVIEVE — Congratulations to Kailynn Harmon, the Rotary Student of the Month for March from Ste. Genevieve High School. Kailynn is the daughter of Matthew and Breea Harmon.

Kailynn’s scholastic honors include: being ranked in the top 10% of her class for four years, earning A Honor Roll all four years, being ranked 11th in her graduating class, and earning the designation of Summa Cum Laude three years and Magna Cum Laude one year. Kailynn has also been a member of National Honors Society (NHS) for two years, Spanish Club for two years, and Spirit Club for one year. She is also enrolled in the A+ Program.

Kailynn participated in volleyball for four years and track and field for three years. She earned Academic All-State in volleyball and track and field for three years and All-District volleyball for two years. She earned the Most Kills Award during her junior year in volleyball and the Highest Kill Percentage Award her senior year.

In her free time, Kailynn enjoys shopping, hanging out with family and friends, and traveling. She plans on attending the University of Missouri for four years to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Kailynn is currently employed as a lifeguard at Ste. Genevieve County Community Center.
