Boys Basketball

 

CHESTER – The Class 2 Regional Tournament at Chester resumes tonight with the championship round.

 

Belleville Althoff and Pinckneyville will meet tonight at 7 for the regional championship game.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Third seed Valle plays top seed Jefferson in the Class 3 District 3 Tournament at Festus tonight 6 p.m. for the district crown.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve defeated Perryville 85-55.

 

The Dragons have the third seed in the Class 4 District 2 Tournament at Ste. Genevieve and will play sixth seed Affton Monday at 7  p.m.

 

The Pirates have the sixth seed in the Class 4 District 1 Tournament at Fredericktown. Perryville plays third seed Kennett Monday at 6:30.

 

Girls Basketball

 

PERRYVILLE – The Lady Pirates finished the regular season with a 52-35 loss to Hillsboro. 


The Lady Pirates were led in scoring by Aby Amberger with 17 points.

 

Next up is the District Tournament at Ste. Gen. 

Perryville has the fifth seed in the Class 4 District 2 Tournament. They will play fourth seed St. Pius X (Festus) at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve has the third seed in the Class 4 District 2 Tournament.

 

They will play sixth seed Herculaneum Tuesday at 7 p.m.

 

JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran lost to Potosi 77-53 Thursday night.

 

The fifth seed Lady Crusaders play fourth seed Kennett at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Class 4 District 1 Tournament at Kennett.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Valle Catholic-St. Paul Lutheran team has the No. 1 seed in the Class 2 District 4 Tournament at Crystal City. They defeated fourth seed Brentwood Thursday night 66-52.

 

Valle plays second seed Bismarck at 1 p.m. Saturday.

 

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent has the top seed in the Class 2 District 3 Tournament at Chaffee. They defeated fifth seed Charleston 66-27 Thursday night.

 

The Lady Indians play third seed Meadow Heights Saturday at 1:30 for the district crown.
