Matilda “Tillie” V. Luckey, 88, of Brazeau, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born May 7, 1936 in Neunert, IL to August B. and Frieda C. (Stueve) Kranawetter.
Tillie and Richard B. “Dick” Luckey were married January 14, 1956. He preceded her in death January 20, 2009.
She was a church secretary at Concordia Lutheran Church for many years and also worked as a secretary at Dreyer Electric. Tillie always had a big garden and loved working with her flowers and plants in her yard. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
Tillie was a faithful Christian her whole life and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She also was a member of LWML, Ladies Aid and Adult Choir, Brazeau Extention Club and Historical Society
Survivors include two sons, Kirk Luckey of Frohna, Kent (Laura) Luckey of Altenburg; daughter, Kay (T) Thompson of Altenburg; brother, Erwin Kranawetter of Evansville, IL; eight grandchildren, Kirk Luckey, II, Eldon “E.J.” Luckey, Nicholas Luckey, Blake Luckey, Sierra Luckey, Kasey Pitts, Jessalyn Williamson; fourteen great-grandchildren, Asher, Ava, Kayd, Remi, Hailey, Payton, Erika, Aylana, Rhyatt, Rouge, Declan, Saydee, Raelyn, Harper.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Albert, Roland, Leo, and Randy; four sisters, Cecilia Kranawetter, Marie Lueders, Nelda Arbeiter, Cordell Kirn; daugter-in-law, Jan Luckey.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna and will continue from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the church.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Monday, March 3, 2025 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna with Rev. Frank Lucas officiating.
Burial will be at Brazeau Presbyterian Cemetery in Brazeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to United in Christ School (UCLS) or Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, MO
