A funeral will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 for 90-year-old Shirley Ann Narens of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born July 29, 1934 in St. Louis, MO to William and Irene (Sharp) Rudloff who both preceded in death.
She and Leo V. Narens Sr. were married April 14, 1951 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on December, 3, 2007.
Survivors include three sons: Leo (Kathy) Narens Jr., Patrick (Ginger) Narens, and Mike (Betty) Narens; six grandchildren: Sarah Narens, Leo (Jennifer) Narens III, Rachel (Jareb) Barcus, Matthew Narens, Jenni (Josh) Wheeler, and Melissa Narens; 11 great-grandchildren: Hayden Narens, Leo Narens IV, Brady Neely, Jacob Barcus, Travis Wheeler, Collin Wheeler, Max Wheeler, Griffin Wheeler, Lacey Scamell, Lily Scamell, and Chase Scamell.
Shirley was a good friend of Bill W.
She volunteered at Perry County Memorial Hospital and was a member of T.O.P.S.
Most of all Shirley enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a devout catholic and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 90-year-old Shirley Ann Narens of Perryville, Missouri will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Fred Wandera C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Ozora.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
