Jim Baker will present the next program for the Sainte Genevieve Museum Learning Center’s speaker Series on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 6 pm at the Orris Theatre in Ste. Genevieve. His presentation, “What the Tour Guides Don’t Tell You,” will present a pictorial and verbal tour of the historic district based on some very interesting cases and incidents involving some of the more colorful residents of Ste. Genevieve in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Baker has been a key resource in documenting and interpreting the unique French buildings and historic sites in Ste. Genevieve, as well as preserving the many unique stories that make up the town’s history, including a famous duel!
His presentation is sponsored by Jeff Heil and Whitetail Properties Real Estate.
Speaker presentations are free to museum members, otherwise museum admission will apply.
