According to Michelle Ramsey, CCC Foundation Executive Director, the Superheroes Have a Heart for Kids luncheon has seen growing attendance each year since its beginning in 2018.  “Our goal for the Superheroes Have a Heart for Kids fundraising luncheon is to share the impactful work that is being done throughout our service area.  We invite everyone to come out and support our work we do right here in our community,” Ramsey stated.

Ramsey continued, “Through this event, we will raise much needed funds designated solely to Children’s Services so we can continue to help CCC meet our youth clients’ needs, while ensuring that the Center can sustain and grow the Children’s Services programs to provide the help needed for our children today and tomorrow.”

This year’s luncheon features a mother sharing her family’s inspiring six-year journey with CCC, highlighting the profound impact of the center’s care. The luncheon is open to the public.  Anyone who has a heart for children that wants to be a superhero is invited to attend. Superhero costumes are welcome but not required.

“Our Superheroes luncheon is a favorite event in the community, featuring great food, raffles, fun and inspiration. We invite anyone who would like to join us to make plans to attend,” Ramsey added.
