A funeral will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 for 96-year-old Vincent P. Weiler of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born April 30, 1928 in New Offenburg, Mo., the son of Charles Weiler and Cathleen (Fallert) Weiler, who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife: Modesta Valle-Weiler of Sainte Genevieve, MO; son: Curt (Pat) Weiler of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; daughter: Missy (Joe) Giesler of St. Mary, Mo.; two stepdaughters: Phyllis Mattingly of Perryville, Mo., and Sandra (Leo) Kiefer of Perryville, Mo.; grandchildren: Brooke and Tanner Weiler; Adam (Laura) Pettus, Kimber (Kellen) Basler; Bryan (Sherry) Mattingly, Chrissy (Lonnie) Wolk, Sarah (Derek) Thornberry; Angie Klaus, Michael Cox, Robert Kiefer; and several great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife: Patrinella (Hoog) Weiler; two sisters: Frieda Huber, and Irma Ritter; and four brothers: Oliver Weiler, Wilbert Weiler, Clarence Weiler, and Paul Weiler.
He was a member of American Legion Post 150 and VFW 2210.
Visitation will be 8:30-10:45 a.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. Saturday, February 8, 2025.

Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. with full military honors
