A funeral will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 for 88-year-old Mary L. Peura of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at Riverview at the Park in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born December 20, 1936 in Urania, Louisiana.
She is survived by a daughter: Mary (Charles) Lile of Saint Louis, Mo.; a son: Robert Peura of Farmington, Mo.; grandchildren: Andrew Peura and Elizabeth (Michael) House; great grandchildren, Silas, Audrey, and Abby House.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Roland Peura; sister: Elizabeth Ioriatti; father: Robert E. Weston; mother: Jewell A. (Brooks) Weston.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
Service will be at Basler Funeral Home on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

She was a member of Ste. Genevieve Art Guild, Ste. Genevieve Foundation for Restoration.
Mary and her husband, Robert, owned the Anvil Restaurant from 1985 till 1996.
She was very active in the Ste. Genevieve community, owning an antique shop, driving a school bus, participating in art shows and helping her husband at his law office.
