ALDERMAN REPORT-none
RECREATION-Recreational ball registration has started, will conclude January 31st. Starting at toddler level. Will not do weeball unless enough applications requested. Registration has been advertised with webpage, schools, facebook page, and city sign by bridge road.
COHEN SUPERINTENDENT-no official report but, lights have been replaced in all fields. Suggestion of getting labels for the light switches in the electrical panel
COLE MEMORIAL SUPERINTENDENT-no report
OLD BUSINESS–Christmas on the River 2025 changes: move tree lighting to Saturday after the parade and utilize memorial park across the street. Next meeting for Christmas on the River Jan 29th at 5:30pm.
Breezy Airport brought up as the city mows the land with the exception of their landing strip. City supplies the land, trailer, and toilet for this group. Board to invite to a meeting closer to spring time(March/April) to discuss their needs. Will be looking into adding a driving range near this property.
NEW BUSINESS- Cindy Menafee added to the park board.

January 17-Popeye day/birthday
Patti to meet with Scott Rust tomorrow to discuss supplies from Oakdale Eggstravaganza. Decorations to include mother in the shoe, three pigs, carousel horses. Will be stored under the pool temporarily. Would like to get businesses involved with the Spring Fling. Will use colored wristbands for hunt. Will advertise that it will start at 10am with different age groups following immediately afterwards. Will have a redemption booth for prizes. A petting zoo from 11-2. Will play the movie ‘Hop’ at 7:30pm. (popcorn machine and see if Pepsi would donate drinks) Will have a bonnet competition with 3 age groups. Vendors from 10am-2pm.
