A funeral will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 for 89-year-old Patricia Ann Paulus of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born April 24, 1935 in Perryville, Mo. to Leroy and Euline (Chappius) Zoellner.
Patricia and Kenneth Paulus were married June 29, 1957 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Perryville. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2019.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
First and foremost she was defined by her sweetness, her kindness, her loving nature and smile. Her priority was her family and home. Selflessness, hard work, prioritizing the needs and well being of her loved ones proved her devotion beyond any doubt.
Survivors include four sons, Tom (Leslie Cipolla) Paulus, Tim (Sandy) Paulus, Dave (Toni) Paulus, Rich Paulus; daughter, Mary Paulus Schremp; brother, Glen (Faye) Zoellner; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Schremp, Tyler Paulus, Danielle (Tim ) Turner, Sierra (Chad) Etzold, Nicholas Schremp, Kennedy (Anna) Paulus, Ellie Paulus; nine great-grandchildren, Brynn, Maisyn, Ava, Cullen, Blair, Hayes, Baylor, Linkin, Lena.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Joan Zoellner, Peggy Hayden; brother, John Zoellner.
Visitation will be from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral Mass for 89-year-old Patricia Ann Paulus of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Vincent Educational Foundation or Alzheimer’s Association.
