CAPE GIRARDEAU – The United Way of Southeast Missouri (UWSEMO) has created a Winter Recovery Fund in response to the widespread power outages that are the result of recent ice and snowstorms.
UWSEMO has created similar funds following the Perryville tornado in 2017 and the more recent Bollinger County tornado and flood in 2023, distributing over $100,000 to these communities.
The Winter Recovery Fund benefits individuals and families within UWSEMO’s footprint of Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Perry, and northern Scott Counties.
