Claude E. Knapp, 81, of Rockwood, Illinois, passed away at 2:05 pm, Monday, January 6, 2025 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.
He was born to the late William and Viola (nee Martin) Knapp on December 28, 1943 in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
Claude married Dorothy “Missy” Hoover on November 9, 1984 in Bremen, Illinois; she survives.
He had worked as a Security Therapy Aide at Chester Mental Health Center in Chester, Illinois.
Claude enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved to watch football and spend time with his family.

He was Preceded in Death by: Parents.
It was Claude’s wish to be cremated.
