Lee Virgil Chesnick

Lee Virgil Chesnick, 82, of Old Appleton, Missouri passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 at St. Francis Medical Center, Cape Girardeau, MO.

 

He was born November 13, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. to Charles Louis and Catherine Margaret (Kittle) Southard.

 

Lee and Judy Darlene Northcutt were married on May 5, 1970 in Mountain Home, AR.  She preceded him in death on October 2, 2020.

 

Lee was an United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a over the road truck driver and he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, American Legion Post 133, and V.F.W. Post 4282 both in Perryville.  Lee enjoyed spending time with his wife and children.

 

Survivors include five sons and one daughter, Larry (Robin) Lozier of Cape Girardeau, MO, Brian (Sheila) Chesnick of Fenton, MO, Chris (Lisa) Lozier of Ozark, MO, Donald (Stephanie) Lozier of Tucson, AZ, Lee Chesnick of Tucson, AZ,  Michael Chesnick of Old Appleton, MO, ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

 

Visitation will be from 8:30 am to 10:15 am on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

 

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek with Rev. Michael Benz officiating.

 

Burial will be at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Apple Creek with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 133 & Delta Team.

 

Memorial contributions may be given to Missouri National Veterans Memorial or American Legion Post 133.
