PERRYVILLE – Citizens Electric Corporation is pleased to announce that Citizens Electric Corporations’ board of directors voted to keep rates at their current levels moving forward into 2025 during its most recent board meeting.
This decision was a result of the review of the upcoming year’s budget, a process that is held annually, this time each year. Citizens is proud to be able to retain the current rates going into the new year despite the transmission asset acquisition and separation from Citizens Electric’s generation and transmission wholesale provider.
The Corporation will continue to work to keep member rates stable and affordable, fulfilling member requests as part of the overall mission of the corporation. This is just one more way that Citizens Electric is working for its members.
