A funeral will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025 for 79-year-old Bill Brewer of Perryville passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Bill was born October 28, 1945 in St. Louis, Mo. to Courtney and Lora AnnaBelle (DeBoard) Brewer who both preceded him in death.
Graduating from Perryville High School in 1964, Bill became an over the road truck driver for many years. He joined Local 513 Heavy Equipment Operators Union and retired from there in 2010. He loved the outdoors, fishing and camping as much as he could.
Bill is survived by a son, Billy (Michelle) Brewer of Perryville, a daughter Angela Lynn Brewer of Perryville, three brothers: Tommy (Joan) and Gary Brewer of Perryville and Kevin (Karen) Brewer of Ladson, SC., four sisters: Cindy (Phil) McWhorter of Springville, UT., Darlene (Gary) Weibrecht, Connie (John) Lewis and Terri (Bobby) Adams all of Perryville. A special friend Carolyn Renaud of Perryville, three grandchildren: Justin, Jenna and Jeremy (Danielle) Brewer, with a great-grandchild on the way.
He was also preceded by three brothers: Daryl, Kenneth and Mark Brewer.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m., Wednesday, January 8 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 8 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of your choice.
